PROGRAM OUTCOMES(POs)

PO1. Scientific Knowledge and Critical Thinking: Apply the knowledge of Life Science, Physical and Chemical Science, Mathematics, statistics, Computer science and humanities for the arrangement of solutions to the problems that come across in our day-to-day life/activities.

PO2. Problem Solving: Identify and analyse the problem and formulate solutions for problems using the principles of mathematics, natural sciences with appropriate consideration for the public health, safety and environmental considerations.

PO3. Communication and Computer Literacy:  Communicate the fundamental and advanced concepts of their discipline in written and oral form. Able to make appropriate and effective use of information and information technology relevant to their technique.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

Bachelor of Science: Physics

PS01- Students will be able to acquire core knowledge in Physics in the key areas, develop written & oral communication skills in communicating physics-related topics.

PS02- Develop proficiency in acquiring data using a variety of instruments, analyse & interpret the data, learn applications of numerical techniques. Design & conduct an experiment, demonstrate their understanding of the scientific methods & processes.

Bachelor of Science: Chemistry

PS01- To become familiar with lab supplies and to carry out experiments to discover how to separate chemicals from a solid binary mixture.

PS02- To learn about the structures, reactivity, stereochemistry, nomenclature, and mechanisms of chemical processes and recognize chemical formulas and find solutions to various issues.

Bachelor of Science: Botany

PS01- To learn about the significance of botany in all fields, particularly in relation to agriculture, ethics, healthcare, and environmental and societal challenges, and to comprehend the role that plants play in supporting life on Earth.

PS02- To gain an understanding of plant classification based on plant systematics principles and to incorporate into daily life practices such as organic farming, mushroom cultivation, plant propagation, and the manufacturing of biopesticides and fertilizers.

Bachelor of Science: Zoology

PS01- Understand the principles and nature of cell biology, genetics, taxonomy, physiology, biochemistry, ecology, and evolutionary biology in addition to their practical and economic applications.

PS02- Students will be able to identify the relationship or synchronization between the structural and functional levels of molecules, cells, and organisms. Students should be able to identify, classify, and differentiate between different chordates and non-chordates based on their morphological, anatomical, and systemic arrangements.

Bachelor of Science: Mathematics/h4>

PS01- A student must be able to recall basic mathematical information and demonstrate familiarity with notations, jargon, and other norms.

PS02- Students will be able to analyze and apply mathematical reasoning in a logical and critical manner upon completion of this curriculum.
